The highest point in Mussoorie is Lal Tibba that lies on the Depot Hill offering majestic views of the Himalayan peaks.
A telescope was installed here in 1967 so that one can clearly view the peaks of Kedarnath, Badrinath and Banderpunch, among others.Located at walking distance from the Mall Road, Gun Hill is an important attraction of the town. The best way to reach its top is to take the cable car. Besides enjoying the panoramic views of the nearby valleys, you can behold a 360 degree of the Himalayas.
Municipal Garden is a popular picnic spot for locals as well as tourists. The garden is famous for its colourful flowering plants; it also has a small amusement park.
