Meet our representative on arrival at Bagdogra airport or NJP railway station and drive to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check into a hotel. In the evening you are free to explore the local area. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Early in the morning, we will leave for Tiger Hill for witnessing sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga.Return to the hotel and en-route visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Later, after breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday) and Tea Garden (outer view).Return to the hotel for lunch and spend rest of the day at leisure, followed by overnight stay.
After breakfast drive to Pelling in West Sikkim. The journey runs through the winding road cutting across the valleys, hills and villages and follows the course of Teesta River and then beautiful Rangit River till Legship. Take a refreshing break at the view point near Melli and watch the magnificent confluence of Tista River and Rangit River. Later continue drive to Pelling and check into a hotel on arrival for overnight stay.
In the morning after breakfast, visit one of the famous monasteries, the Pemayangtse Monastery. It is the seat of the Nyingma Order of Tibetan Buddhism and was originally a small Lhakhang built by Lhatsun Chempo in the 17th Century. The monastery contains numerous antique idols and objects of worship and is filled with wall paintings and sculptures.
Later, we will visit the legendary lake at Khecheopalri (25 km). The Holy Lake is surrounded by dense forests and is believed to have the power of fulfilling wishes. Thereafter, we will pay a visit to the Kunchenjungha Falls and Rimbi Falls, two magnificent perennial waterfalls on the way. Return to the hotel for lunch.
After lunch we will proceed to the Dentham Valley, about an hour drive from Pelling. Visit Tsangey Falls and take some photographs of the magnificent falls. Also visit Sinsore Bridge – the highest bridge in Sikkim. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast drive to Gangtok, land of unspoiled natural beauty with alpine landscapes, thick luxuriant forests, rivers in torrent and peaceful lakes. On arrival, checkinto a hotel. For rest of the day youare free to explore the local area. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, proceed to Tsongmo Lake (12,210 ft)and Baba Mandir, a 40 km drive which takes 2.5 hrs. This lake is located very close to Nathu La Pass, which is the entry point to China termed as the “Silk Routeâ€and remains frozen for most parts of the year. The lake is home to the Brahminy ducks and many migratory birds. Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir, which is highly acknowledged for its spiritual worth. We can also visit the Nathu La Pass, which is the border between India and China. Later drive back to Gangtok. After breakfast drive to Lachung (8610 ft) anden-route visit the Kabi Lungstok. It is 25km from Gangtok where a treaty was signed between the Tibetan King, Khye Bumsa representing the Bhutias and the Lepcha Chief ThekongTek. The spot where the ceremony took place is marked by a memorial stone pillar amidst the cover of dense forests. We will also visit the Naga Waterfalls and confluence of Lachen Chu & Lachung Chu at Chungthang. Chungthang is predominantly a Lepcha region, the nodal junction for the two passes- Lachen & Lachung. Later, we will halt at the Twin Waterfalls and Bhim Nala Waterfalls.

After breakfast proceed to Yumthang (11800 ft), which is also known as the Valley of Flowers. This is where the tree line ends & the rhododendron groves cover the landscape in a surreal shade. In winters there is snow all around and the snow clad mountains add a charm to the beauty. This place is also known for its hot springs that have healing medicinal properties. Enjoy entire day amid the magnificence of this place and later return to the hotel for overnight stay at Gangtok.
